Easter Weekend! We participated in our church's Easter egg hunt this year and while Noah didn't really grasp the competitive spirit of collecting lots of eggs, he immensely enjoyed the two he found. Here are some pictures from that Saturday morning.

Nashville got hit with a late winter storm last Saturday that brought us a couple inches of snow. More than we've seen in years! Noah was desperate to get out and play in it, but once we were all bundled up and out there, he wasn't too sure about the whole thing. It was treat to have Nana and Grandad here for the fun!

We had a great visit with Nana and Grandad last weekend! Noah had so much fun exploring Nana's cooler and especially enjoyed the apples.

Pictures in the hallway

We started holding Noah up to look at the family pictures in the hallway a week or so ago and he can't get enough of it. The funny thing is, the only picture he wants to see is the one with a dog in it! He just loves animals and dogs in particular. He gets terribly excited when he sees dogs outside, whether we are outside or he just sees them from the window, and yells 'baaa' over and over again. He's using that word for most animals, but it seemed to have started with dogs.

Here he is trying to tell me he wants to look at the picture again!

He does it so often that we found some other dog pictures and put them in the fridge so they would be right at his height. He loves looking at them and yelling baaa!
New Words!

We've been fortunate and had some great weather this past week - it's gone from a nice, light dusting of snow to a sunny day of 70 degrees! Now that we've been spending some time outside with Noah, that is all he wants no matter what the weather. He has even started saying 'outside' but it usually sounds like 'haught-eye' or sometimes 'haught-sigh' but he says it over and over again while at the front door. On rainy days like today, we just sit at the window and look outside and he loves it!

Here is one of the nicer days. We were on our way to the park.

And today it's raining, so he is just watching from the window.
