We've had a busy couple of weeks with lots of fun at our classes and with family in town! Here are some pics...

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! Here are some pictures of the kids this week around the house, painting and doing crafts, in the tent we set up for a few days in the living room, at Noah's zoo class and at a special Valentines Day cookie decorating class.

Zoo Tots

Today we went to our first toddler class at the zoo and it was great! They start with all the kids and parents at the front of the room in a circle. Today, we learned about backyard animals and they had a lot of stuffed animals that they brought out during the discussion, but then they brought out a live possum named Rose and a crow named Scully. They let the kids pet the possum and I was surprised how cute it actually was.

Then, we went to some tables to do a craft and today, we decorated a drawing of a possum. Noah's favorite part was painting on the glue to get the pom-poms to stick. Then we went back to the circle for storytime and a snack (animal crackers of course) and then they close with a song. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was really impressed!
