Family Pics
I feel like a broken record here lately. We've had a busy couple of weeks and it's only going to get worse before it gets better. Elena is officially crawling and getting into Noah's toys, which is a joy and a challenge all at the same time! Here are some pics...

Nashville Flood
We've had an extremely busy couple of weeks. We are so thankful that we didn't sustain any damage during the flooding this past week and that we are all safe and sound. One of the biggest challenges during the storms was keeping Noah occupied inside for so long. Here are some pics of our activities used to pass the time.
We built forts, seriously, a lot of forts. We had never done anything like this with Noah and he absolutely loved it. There were small forts that were only big enough for Noah, there were forts we could all fit in, there were forts without a roof, forts with pillows for a roof and forts with a sheet as a roof. Here are just two of the many...

We also put together a gingerbread bird house. I got it at some point around Easter and we just hadn't gotten around to working on it yet. I had forgotten what a disaster our first gingerbread house was and the bird house didn't turn out much better, but we had fun together!

Keep in mind when you see the picture on the box and compare it to how ours turned out below, that we really did have two adults working on this with Noah. And yes, the picture below is the finished product. (Know that when you laugh, you're laughing with us!)

We also read a lot of books. This picture actually isn't from the flooding weekend, but I just love the way Noah is showing Elena the book and how much she just loves everything he does.

The other big news of the week is that Elena turned 6 months old! Noah and I made her a party hat and we all ate some cake in her honor.

And here are some random pics from around the house and at the park...
