After the first fiasco with Noah, the helmet, and the bike trailer (a.k.a. 'The Chariot'), we decided to approach this differently. We thought we'd put Noah's helmet on him in the house and them distract him so he'd forget he even had it on. I'm not sure he was ever so distracted he forgot about it, but he did seem to get used to it. So we went on a nice little bike ride around the neighborhood! I'm not sure if he liked it, or just tolerated it, but I'll take either.

Seriously, what's not to like when you're getting pulled around in a chariot? You get to roll through the neighborhood with a breeze through your hair, you can lounge back in the hammock-like seat and you have drinks and snacks to munch on at your leisure!

I had a great first week back home with Noah full-time! The weather was perfect to spend our days outside.

Here is Noah helping out while I try to work in the garden.

He just loves rocks. Really, he can't get enough of them. He'll lick a whole handful of them and if that isn't enough, he'll put them in his mouth. He doesn't try to eat them, he just likes them in his mouth. Strange, but true.

Carrying more rocks!

And his most recent skill learned... climbing! He's been working on climbing these steps for a long time and has finally conquered climbing on furniture in the house, too!
What a big day! Last weekend, Noah helped David transform his crib into a toddler bed!

Noah is beginning to point out his eyes, nose, ears and here he is pointing towards his belly. For some reason, on this particular night, he found it really funny!

We started having Noah eat some meals with us at the table. It's usually a big mess, so we don't do it all the time, but here's a picture of the first time we tried it. Such a big kid!

David and I have missed riding our bikes around the neighborhood, so we bought a bike trailer for Noah to ride in. I think he liked the bike ride itself, but he hates the helmet! We got the smallest helmet we could (it's for 12mo +), but I think its just a bit heavy for him and it also slid over his eyes at the end. Poor guy!

Also on Easter Weekend, we went to see Go Dogs, Go! at the Nashville Children's Theatre. It has been one of Noah's favorite books and we were anxious to see how we would do watching a play. Surprisingly, he lasted about 45 minutes and then he got loud and antsy so we left. He seemed to enjoy playing in the lobby just as much as watching the play!
